IB-3620U3 shuts down

Hello there,

I've just bought a Icy Box (IB-3620U3) to make a RAID 1 backup plan to use with OS X.

It all started very good. I've build the RAID in the disk management and started to copy files to the IcyBox... and suddenly it as shut down itself from the computer... but the fans are still working and everything seems okay... but my computer won't recognize it...

It's a Firmware problem? or out should I do?

Hi Stephan, sorry about the delay.

Yes, I've tried with another OSx and even with two Win10.

When I start copying the files everything is just fine but then suddenly the disk just shuts down by itself.

Re: IB-3620U3 shuts down

Hello JCarita,

if you tried on different computers, the problem most likely lies with
3620 or one of the HDDs.
You can try to remove the HDDs and scan them for errors on your PC.
If everything is OK, then it's most likely a problem with the Box.

Best regards,
Stephan
